We are so proud of our girls. It is so fun to watch them grow and see how different they are. Emme is so stubborn but kindhearted. Cam is a dreamer with an imagination like no other. We have had such a wonderful and blessed month. We never forget that have so much to be thankful for.
Sunny Day
It was a beautiful sunny day and I had to get out and play with my new camera. I was trying to get some pictures of the girls together, but this was as good as I could get. Emme thought it was so fun being outside, and couldn't wait to run away from me.
Standing somewhat still
Standing somewhat still
Every once in a while it seems like Cameryn is so old. Some of her clothes make her seem like such a big kid. She's even starting to talk like a teenager. She's already got the drama and the attitude down. Lately she likes to say "but Mom!" or "That's just not fair!" She already talks about her wedding (aka: when she's a princess). Today at the store we walked by the flowers and she asked me if she could have flowers at her wedding. She's growing up too fast!!!
Cameryn loves to play games, and loves the computer. I thought I'd give her a try at the Wii, since she's never really played. She absolutely loved it! She wasn't that great...but she didn't know the score. It was so fun to watch her enthusiasm. This was tennis...can't you tell!
The girls and I decided to head up to Seattle one day. We had quite the outing. We started at the U District Farmer's Market, then headed to U Village and did a little shopping, then off to the aquarium...all before naptime. The girls enjoyed the aquarium, but were tired by the time we got there.
It was so fun to walk around the corner just at the right time to see the divers jump in for feeding time.
Silly Emme
Emme already loves to tease Cam. She is such a ham. She got such a kick out of putting Cam's underwear on her head. Yes, they were clean. This got lots of laughs out of both of them!
Emme has been pretty quiet...until now. Cam talked so much that it seems like Em hardly says anything. She's really taken off in the last couple of weeks though. Brian got her to say "cougar" today, a milestone for his life. At the store the other night, she was yelling and signing "peeeze, peeeze, PEEEZE" (please) to the lady in the bakery who was on the phone. Apparently her cookie wasn't coming fast enough.
We tried out a couple of recipes one Sunday. Cameryn loves to help in the kitchen. The best part- by far- is licking the beaters.
We usually spend Thanksgiving with Brian's family in Seattle, but we went down to Portland this year. The girls had fun playing together, and it was great to be with family.
A little "Ring Around the Rosy"
While in Portland, we celebrated Papa Richard's Birthday. Emme was so excited about the card that played the Chicken Dance song. She kept opening it over and over...just as surprised each time!
Emme also loved having someone on her level. She was so intrigued with Baby Ben. It was fun to watch them interact. I think he might have her beat for amount of hair- even though Em has 11 months on him.
