Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Seeing things through the eyes of kids makes everything that much more special. Cam decided that she loved Santa this year (after 3 years of fearing him). She sat on his lap, told him secrets, and asked for "a Barbie with a dress, and a bike." Christmas morning I could hardly stand waiting for her to wake up. When she did wake up, she looked down at the tree and saw her bike, did a dance, gave a couple of "woo-hoo's," and yelled up "THANK YOU, SANTA!!!" It was like a movie...absolutely perfect. Of course, the best gift she got was her Snow White dress. I'm not sure she can go 24 hours without wearing it...and her "clip-clop shoes" (plastic dress up heels).

The cranberries and carrots left for the reindeer

What was left- the reindeer must have been hungry!

Santa drank all of the milk and left a few crumbs of cookies

Emme and the one present she really enjoyed- a toothbrush
